آگ بڑی اہمیت کا حامل ہے لیکن اس کے کنٹرول میں ہے صرف اس صورت میں. یہ ہماری کھانا پکاتی سرد دور رکھنے کی طرف سے ہم سردیوں میں گرم جوشی دیتا ہے اور ہمارے لئے بہت سی دیگر چیزیں کرتا ہے.

شاید اسی وجہ سے یہ انسانوں کی طرف سے بنایا سب سے بڑی دریافتوں میں سے ایک سمجھا جاتا ہے. اس کے کنٹرول سے باہر ہو جاتا ہے لیکن اگر اس کہر کی ایک بہت پر لاتا ہے. یہ جان و مال کی بھاری نقصان کا سبب بنتا ہے.

یہ آدھی رات تھی. پورے شہر نیلے تارامی آسمان تلے اونگھ رہا تھا. میں نے بھی اپنے کمرے میں گہری نیند سے لطف اندوز تھی. میں نے کے زور روتا کی طرف سے بیدار ہو گیا اچانک "آگ آگ" میں اٹھا اور کھڑکی سے نیچے peeped کیا.

میں نے بہت سے لوگوں کو ایک ہی سمت میں چل رہے تھے دیکھا. میں نے بھی ان میں شامل ہو. تقریبا 200 گز پر، میں نے ایک گھر کے اوپر بڑھتی ہوئی زبردست سرخ شعلوں دیکھا اور بلیز خوفناک تھا. ہم قریب چلا گیا کے طور پر ہم ہمارے شہر کا ایک بڑا تاجر کے گھر میں آگ لگی تھی کہ پایا.

لوگوں کی ایک بڑی تعداد پہلے ہی جگہ پر جمع ہوئے تھے. وہ پھینک مٹی اور آگ پر پانی ڈالنے شروع کر دیا. ہوا سے تھوڑا سا مضبوط تھا کیونکہ یہ سب بیکار تھا. شعلوں دھوئیں کے سیاہ اور گھنے بادلوں کے ساتھ آسمان میں اعلی اچھلتے ہوئے تھے.

گھر کا مالک "میں تمام کھو دیا ہے! میں برباد ہو گیا!"، اس کے سینہ دھڑک رہا تھا یہ واقعی ایک بہت ہی قابل رحم منظر تھا. اس دوران میں فائر بریگیڈ کو آگاہ کیا، لیکن اس کے دیر سے کیونکہ طویل فاصلے کی معمولی سی مقدار کے لئے آئے تھے. پیتل بستیوں میں سرگرم مردوں کے ایک جہاز کے عملہ کام شروع کر دیا. اس کے کنٹرول کے تحت آگ کو لانے کے لئے انہیں ایک گھنٹے تک جاری رہی.

وہ مکمل طور پر اسے بجھانے کے لئے ایک گھنٹے سے زیادہ کے لئے آگ کے ساتھ لڑنے کے لئے اب بھی تھا. کچھ آگ مرد اپنی آگ پروف سوٹ میں گھر میں اپنی راہ بنا دیا اور گھر کے مالک کے مال کا ایک اچھا سودا محفوظ کر لیا. وہ سب کے سب اپنے فرائض انجام طریقہ یقینا قابل تعریف تھا. وہ زندگی اور املاک کو بچانے کیلئے کوئی کسر نہیں چھوڑی. انہوں نے آگ پر تھا کہ گھر کو بچا لیا بلکہ آگ پکڑنے سے ہمسایہ گھروں کو روکا نہ صرف جو واقعی شاندار جادوگر تھے.

یہ اس آگ حادثے ایک سگرٹ نوش تھا جو بندے کی لاپرواہی کی وجہ سے تھا کہ کہا جاتا ہے. ان کی پائپ سگریٹ نوشی کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے سو گیا. پائپ سے جلانے راکھ نیچے گر گیا اور بستر کو آگ لگا دی. جلد ہی پوری عمارت میں آگ پھیلنے.

فائر کی کوئی مدد نہیں تھی تو، اقدام سے باہر ایک نقصان ہوتا. املاک کے نقصان اب بھی کم نہیں تھا اور یہ ایک لاکھ روپے تک کا تخمینہ لگایا گیا تھا لیکن کوئی جانی نقصان نہیں تھی خدا کا شکر ہے.

میں اپنی زندگی میں اس طرح ایک خوفناک واقعے کبھی نہیں دیکھا تھا. میں نے میرے من کی موجودگی کا استعمال کیا اور جان و مال کا بھاری نقصان ٹل گیا جس وقت میں فایئر برگیڈ کو آگاہ کیا کہ اپنے آپ پر فخر تھا.
